These people refused to shy away from their culture, people, and ideals even when it was not easy and instead used it to influence their work, improve their work, and take it to new heights. With a broad range of topics, we aim to make a meaningful connection with students by offering a variety of curricula, so every student has the chance to connect with a lesson and find inspiration through it.
The program has three distinct parts that give all students a chance to connect with the lessons and find meaning in them. They are separated into language, science, and history. No matter their interests, students will hear from an incredible range of people who have achieved incredible feats and inspired millions. From trailblazing authors who pushed the boundaries of what was acceptable, to STEM scientists who helped us navigate the stars, every student will find someone to connect with and be inspired by.
Making the push for student empowerment will be the motivation needed in the coming years to make a shift in our youth. Giving students knowledge of people who did and do incredible things with their lives while instilling knowledge of their culture allows youth to maintain tradition while simultaneously forging a new path forward with new ideas, motivation, and hunger for change. The “Inspirational Leadership” curriculum is an exciting opportunity for educators to help inspire the next generation, and SilkWeb is honored to be a partner in this endeavor.
