Many instructors are excellent at teaching face to face, but lack the experience and expertise to deliver course content effectively online. We bridge that gap. We don’t just update the content. We provide instructors with best practices and best use of the tools and technologies the school has already adopted. We also serve as a resource for instructors throughout the semester answering questions and assisting with updates as needed. We have helped many schools not just transition to online, but rapidly improve the quality of their online offerings and ease anxiety for faculty.

DSU enjoys a long history as one of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), founded in 1891 as one of the country’s first land-grant educational institutions. SilkWeb was awarded a 5-year contract with the State of Delaware to help DSU provide instructional design, curriculum development and subject matter expertise. SilkWeb provides a value-add to DSU’s course offerings by having designed and implemented a standardized curriculum approach for online courses across all DSUs programs. As the sole provider of online course development, SilkWeb is uniquely positioned to work with faculty members in a one-to-one virtual environment to coach, assess, and improve existing curriculum and to provide on-going technical support and coaching to online faculty.
