Our Work Makes a Difference

SilkWeb's Instructional Designers work one-to-one with faculty at some of the nation's leading educational institutions. Our work is fast-paced and deadline driven. We offer a flexible work environment and a family-friendly atmosphere. Our team is comprised of experienced instructional designers who are committed to our  learner-centric design approach and skilled in Universal Design and Quality Matters™ standards. 


Qualifications

*Master’s Degree in Instructional Design.

*Demonstrated work experience in instructional design preferably for higher education (minimum of 10 years’). 

*Minimum 2 years’ experience evaluating course quality using the Quality Matters™ standards.

*Demonstrated proficiency in applying instructional design theory, models and best practices; demonstrated proficiency using instructional design tools such as learning project plans, design documents, learning hierarchies, prototypes, etc.

*Thorough knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies, including needs analysis, backwards design, learning outcomes and assessment design, and instructional approaches including lecture, discussion, activities, projects, etc.

*High proficiency in software applications usage to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Articulate 360, Blackboard, Canvas, and  D2L. 

*Excellent attention to detail and skills in communication, presentation design and delivery and data collection and analysis.

Senior Project Manager 

SilkWeb is Seeking a Project Manager

SilkWeb is currently seeking a Project Manager with experience in Learning Management System (LMS) implementations, course migrations, and curriculum development projects. Must be US Citizen and Native English speaker and capable of passing a Federal background test for "secret" level clearance.

Requirements: PMP Certification, Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Knowledge of LMS implementation process, experience managing work flows in a technology environment. Confident working independently, able to manage multiple projects at once, experience communicating between software vendors, internal resources, and clients. Knowledge of learning management system, software development cycle, Federal and State contracting, FedRAMP requirements, 3PAO certification process.

Internships

Gain Work Experience

SilkWeb is currently looking for college students to fill our internships. We are looking for applicants that are hardworking and understand what a deadline means. Applicants should have attention to detail, working knowledge of Google Docs, and/or Microsoft Office, and the ability to complete work independently all while remaining flexible and open to change.

Qualified applicants will have a personal computer and high-speed internet access OR be located near Scottsdale and have the ability and transportation to commute to work. Work can be completed on your own schedule but deadlines and strategic goals will be provided. Initial training is required and will be paid. On-going training will be provided by phone, email, or video conferencing during regular business hours. You will learn various business skills during your internship that will transfer to your work skills. We are looking for someone with college coursework in business, marketing, or a related area. We work with top-level colleges and universities to develop courses in a variety of topics, including Nursing, Management, Accounting, and Mathematics, just to name a few! We provide a competitive hourly pay rate and require a monthly commitment of at least 80 hours. Hours may fluctuate based on company needs. The position has the potential to continue after the end of each semester.
